 | She was the butt of a few jokes last week when a photograph of her in a bikini went viral after a friend suggested it appeared she had a manly bulge. But Padma Lakshmi had the last laugh on Sunday looking sizzling in a red string two piece that showed she was all woman. The Top Chef host, who admitted to seeing the funny side of the bulge snap, paraded her enviable figure on Miami Beach. The 44-year-old mother of one frolicked in the Atlantic ocean a week after the amusing snap which showed her running on the beach. She captioned the Instagram picture: 'My friend claims it looks like I have a penis in this pic. One guess as to whether he's gay or not...' Luckily for Padma she has had a sense of humor about the attention the snap received. During Saturday's Veuve Clicquot Carnaval event in Miami, Lakshmi, told People, 'I clearly don't understand the ins and outs of Instagram. 'I'm always amazed at what gets a lot of attention ... I didn't expect that.' The cookbook author, described the situation as 'funny,' adding, 'I think it's nice not to take oneself so seriously ... on the show I have to be so serious.' She admitted to gaining 15lbs, ten times during the filming of Top Chef. 'I follow a clean diet: no meats, no sweets, no alcohol, no cheese, no fried food, no wheat, she said. 'And I work out five days a week, boxing three days, lifting weights the other two. 'To maintain my weight I strength-train, use the treadmill and elliptical, and box three times a week. I also do planks at home and jump rope. I carry a jump rope with me everywhere, especially when I'm working. It's a great way to squeeze in a quick workout and get your heart rate up when you don't have time to go to the gym.' You liked?
